The One Breath Meditation Necklace - Flute Version is based on the Japanese Komoso Buddhist practice of blowing Zen, and is a tangible way to help people learn how to slow their breathing. This Meditation Necklace gives the person using it a physical way to channel and slow their breathing as opposed to relying on counting, visualization, or other breathing techniques. It gives that person something physical and outside their body to focus on - just their One Breath in and out through the necklace. 

The goal of the One Breath Necklace is to help mindful breathing feel accessible and doable, and it should help the user start to ground their body in the present and away from stressful thoughts. Please remember all meditation techniques take time and practice. We have found that some people who are trying to quit smoking and vaping prefer this version with the fluted end, and so we have added it to our store as an option. A small booklet that explains how to properly use this necklace for meditation will come with your purchase.

Please note: this necklace does not provide the resistance you get from sucking in on a cigarette or vape pen. The feedback we have gotten from people who use it to help quit smoking say the help is in having something to put to their mouth while working on meditating, not in a resistance sensation when blowing out through the One Breath Necklace, as it does not provide this. 

The basic product package will come in a velvet bag with a cleaning cloth. In the upgraded package, the One Breath Meditation Necklace will be shipped to you in a black drawer box with a polishing cloth. All products for the upgraded package will come in an organza bag. Each product package has the option to add a stainless steel necklace chain. Sizes of add-on chains are in product specifications. Both packages come with a small meditation booklet with directions for using the necklace, and poems about focusing on the day at hand. Whichever package you choose, your necklace will come to you ready to gift.

Please do not allow your One Breath Meditation Necklace to come in contact with water (except for cleaning), chemicals, or oils. Avoid wearing during exercise, as sweat will react with the jewelry to produce silver chloride and copper sulfide, which causes the jewelry to deteriorate and corrode over time. It is also recommended that you occasionally, gently rinse it with warm soapy water and allow to air dry completely to prevent buildup of bacteria.

This one hour remote session combines the Hibiscus Moon Certified Crystal Healing Method with Reiki healing to help balance and re-align your chakras. Every new client will receive two healing crystals that have been Reiki charged prior to your first appointment that you will keep and use for any subsequent appointments with me. Distance healing does not require that a client have physical crystals on you as I am connecting to your energetic body. However, as someone with anxiety who also lives with loved ones with ADHD, I can appreciate that having a physical object to hold can help with relaxation and focus, and wish to provide that to all my clients.

How do I use the sprays?

There is no one right answer to this question, except that you should never be consuming the sprays or ingesting them in any way.

Some people like to use the sprays as a body spray. Some people like to utilize the sprays as an air freshener in the space where they are. Everyone is different. Trust your gut and don't overcomplicate it. If you are using the spray as a body spray, test a small amount of the spray on your skin to make sure you are not allergic. If a reaction occurs, discontinue use immediately and wash with warm, soapy water. If you don't have a reaction, use the spray as you would any body spray, remembering that like anything that contains essential oils, the oils may alter the color of some fabrics. Never spray in your eyes or mucous membranes.

Nicole uses these sprays as both a room spray and body spray. When she sprays them, she takes a moment to breathe deep and say a prayer. Her practice is to incorporate the sprays into mini-mindfulness moments, but you should do what works for you.

Spiritual direction is an interpersonal relationship where you learn to listen to where you are on your spiritual journey, and you learn how to awaken your inner and outer self to the Mystery who accompanies you. It is a space where you learn how to listen to and talk about your sacred story and how your story is a part of the greater Story. Spiritual direction sessions may focus on different spiritual practices to help you listen to what the Divine is saying to you, but this is not always the case for everyone. A person may only need one session while some may want to schedule several sessions over a period of time.

Nicole offers these one hour remote sessions to everyone, regardless of how you identify spiritually or religiously. She is an ordained Presbyterian pastor with a Master's from Princeton Seminary. She is also a Board Certified Chaplain with the APC and has almost two decades of chaplaincy and spiritual direction experience. Nicole specializes in working with people who used to identify as Christian, but because of traumatic experiences, no longer feel that they fit with their previous Christian church and are not sure what they believe, or where they fit, now. These sessions are not about evangelizing, preaching, or Nicole sharing her story or her agenda. These sessions are about you - what is the Divine Mystery saying in your life, and how can you live in such a way that is peaceful and loving towards yourself and others? How can you use your understanding of the Divine to care for yourself, your community, and Mother Earth? If you identify as an atheist or agnostic and want to try spiritual direction, you are invited to do so. If "Higher Power" language makes you uncomfortable, Nicole will work with you to find language that is comfortable and in line with your values and beliefs.
